Spring / Summer 2021 Colour Trends: Burnt Coral
“Inviting Burnt Coral expresses conviviality“.
“Burnt coral” is a softer, more delicate shade than living coral, pantone color of the year 2019, but equally warm and embracing.
This color is a warm peach color that is bright and inviting.
Burnt Coral in the spring 2021 ready-to-wear collections
Ulla Johnson used burnt coral for a very sophisticated pleated dress with wide balloon sleeves, bows and ruffles on the skirt profile.
Rokh presented a coral pink dress decorated with ruffles and made out of a light, translucent material. Adding style: black leather harnesses and heavy combat boots for a gothic touch.
In the spring/summer 2021 collection designed by Nicky Zimmermann we saw a wide coral colored skirt paired with a ruffled mini-top in the same shade.
Alberta Ferretti also chose the shade “burnt coral” for a beautiful and elegant tunic dress enriched with lace inserts and transparencies and for a romantic top with puffed sleeves.
