Fall 2020 Fashion color trends: Red

Fall / Winter 2020-2021 Colour Trends: Reds

Red, the color of passion, will warm the autumn-winter season 2020/2021, coloring sensual, elegant and sophisticated outfits.

The Pantone Color Institute has indicated red, in its different shades, among the most popular colors of the autumn-winter 2020/2021 palette.

Must-have red hues for autumn-winter 2020/2021

The shades of red that will animate the wardrobe of the cold season giving you a creative and dynamic touch, but also elegant and refined and a good dose of confident optimism are:

Mandarin Red

This bright, warm red was described by Pantone as “an amplified and provocative orange-infused red tone, Mandarin Red is a dynamic force.”
Mandarin red is a lively red-orange shade with a strong proactive and energetic charge. Provocative and eccentric if worn in a total look, used in combination with other neutral shades, it takes on a sunny look that can give a cheerful and lively tone even to the most classic outfit.

We saw mandarin red looks at: Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Mugler, Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Rodarte.

Samba Red

Samba is a more sober and mature red, defined by Pantone as “a voluptuous sultry red”. With its darker and deeper undertone it recalls the color of a ripe apple.
For these characteristics it is ideal for creating refined looks that will not go unnoticed.
Samba red with its intense note catalyzes the attention and if combined with spicy tones it is extremely elegant and chic.

We saw samba red looks at: Versace, Givenchy, Michael Kors Collection, Alberta Ferretti.

Refined and elegant, it works particularly well for fall/ winter velvet suits or outerwear.
